Unlike NSAIDS that have a specific half life, the ingredients in PERFEGESIC are slow acting and build up in the system, usually peaking in 72 - 96 hours. Comfort support continues with use. After discontinuing use of PERFEGESIC you can expect its comfort support to disappear gradually, as it began. PERFEGESIC may be used alone where it is desirable to avoid NSAID and Steroid side effects. PERFEGESIC may also be used with NSAIDS.
